In Summary

The “Look Fors” described below are taken from the effective practices and integration sections of the Going Deeper Rubric:

  • A leadership team is formed with representation from programs, services and operations functions to guide the implementation of equity and inclusive education.
  • All schools and departments set goals and plans which reflect a commitment to equity and inclusive education.
  • On-going communication and consultation with staff, student and community stakeholders takes place as part of on-going implementation.
  • All system leaders regularly monitor and assess progress made in equity and inclusive education practices, and provide advice where needed.
